Kids SCUBA too… in our Future Dive Buddies Programs

Getting children acclimated to the water is something we specialize in at Off the Wall Scuba. Two of our three owners received Instructor ratings in the Scuba Rangers program and now our staff of professional SDI Instructors is introducing the “Future Dive Buddies Program.”

We recommend that children have solid swimming ability before entering any of our youth programs. Parents Are required to sign waivers before children may participate and medical waivers may be required for the Junior Open Water Diver program.

There are FOUR ways Children can participate at Off the Wall Scuba.

1. Snorkeling Experience. This program teaches kids how to snorkel and includes an introduction to snorkeling skills including topside safety, diving methods, a variety of fin kicks, mask and snorkel clearing and a couple of rescue skills Cost is just $45.00 per child for a 3 Hour Pool Session and is often taught 1 on 1 by a Dive Master or Instructor.
   
   
2. Kids Scuba Experience. This program is designed for a group of friends or siblings between the ages of 8 – 12. The program introduces kids to Scuba diving and includes the introduction of basic safety, learning of a basic core group of skills including regulator clearing, mask clearing, buoyancy control and more. Cost is just $55.00 per child for a 3 Hour Pool Session. Taught by a Qualified Instructor and limited to 4 children per session.
   
   
3. Junior Open Water Diver program. Open Water Scuba Certification Course that allows graduates ages 10 - 15 to dive under the direct supervision of a certified diver.
   
   
4. Family SCUBA Lessons. When both parents pay the standard course fees, all kids ages 10-15 receive $50.00 off Open Water Certification. Don’t miss the opportunity for affordable family fun. What do we need to participate?

Most programs require a minimum amount of equipment to participate. These include a well fitting mask, snorkel and fins. We have low cost equipment with the families budget in mind.
